Cordova Woodworks is built on a foundation of craftsmanship, continuity, and evolution. The company’s roots trace back to Cordova Co., founded by David Kelbert, who began operating in 1999 with a commitment to quality millwork, reliability, and enduring craftsmanship. Over the decades, Cordova Co. established itself as a trusted name, delivering detailed custom work across residential and commercial environments. At the heart of David’s work was a deep pursuit of traditional furniture-making techniques, where craftsmanship, joinery, and time-honored methods were treated as both a discipline and an art form. His dedication to these principles helped shape the company’s identity, emphasizing quality, durability, and respect for the craft’s heritage.
Today, as Cordova Woodworks, the company blends traditional craftsmanship with modern systems, design thinking, and scalable workflows. The focus remains the same at its core—exceptional quality and attention to detail—while embracing new approaches that allow the team to deliver more complex, refined, and highly customized work. This evolution reflects a balance of heritage and innovation: honoring the foundation built over decades while investing in the people, processes, and technology that define the future of the craft.

Owner / Operations
Tom Latterell
With over 22 years of experience in construction, woodworking, and business leadership, Tom Latterell provides the vision and operational backbone behind Cordova Woodworks. His foundation began in the masonry field alongside his father, shaping a lasting respect for craftsmanship, discipline, and doing things the right way. His career has evolved through a series of ventures—Moonlit Furnishings (2009), Timber Building Co. (2017), and Tom Latterell Carpentry (2021)—before acquiring Cordova Co. and leading its transformation into Cordova Woodworks. Tom is driven by the versatility of raw materials and the collaborative process of solving complex design challenges, with project experience spanning hospitality, retail, and restaurant environments, including Hyatt Place Hotel, CityBar in Washington, DC, Philz Coffee build-outs, and multiple Tin Shop Restaurant Group concepts. Outside of the shop, he continues to explore creativity through music and live performance, grounded by a master’s degree from Ithaca College and a lifelong commitment to growth and leadership.

Logan Jamieson
With six years of experience spanning woodworking operations, construction, commercial real estate, and healthcare technology, Logan Jamieson leads the systems and workflows that drive efficiency and scalability at Cordova Woodworks. Drawing on an early foundation in real estate and experience as a general contractor, he focuses on aligning people, processes, and production—designing workflows across estimating, scheduling, and communication to support consistent, high-performing operations. Logan is particularly interested in the intersection of craftsmanship and technology, integrating modern tools, data-driven decision-making, and AI-supported systems to elevate execution. In parallel, he contributes to healthcare software development, co-founded a national pediatric hospice nonprofit, and has been recognized for product management excellence. Outside of work, he enjoys dog pulling and joring with his German Shorthaired Pointers.
Design and Engineering
Hudson Kennedy
With over 25 years of experience in woodworking, fine art, and custom fabrication, Hudson Kennedy brings a refined balance of artistic vision and technical precision to the team. His background spans custom framing, furniture making, cabinetry, and finish carpentry, supported by formal training at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, a BFA from the University of South Florida, and participation in the Yale Summer Residency Program. Passionate about guiding projects from concept through execution, Hudson approaches each piece with a strong focus on proportion, detail, and material expression, blending functionality with aesthetics. He is inspired by efficient, precise problem-solving and views woodworking as both a technical craft and an artistic discipline, continuing his creative practice outside the shop through drawing and painting.
Finishing Department
Alex Slivko
With over nine years of woodworking experience and 14 years in professional painting and finishing, Alex Slivko leads the finishing department with a focus on precision, consistency, and furniture-grade quality. He is driven by the transformation of raw materials into refined, design-forward pieces, with experience including highly detailed, custom Boeing-themed projects that reflect his level of control and attention to detail. Balancing technical discipline with a strong appreciation for the artistry of finishing, Alex ensures every project meets a high standard of visual excellence.
Lead Installer
Mike Hubbard
With over two decades of hands-on experience in construction and fine cabinetry, Mike is the backbone of our installation team. As Lead Installer, he brings an unmatched level of precision, problem-solving, and craftsmanship to every project he touches. Mike’s extensive background allows him to seamlessly bridge the gap between complex construction requirements and the delicate, detailed work required for high-end cabinetry. Known for his meticulous eye for detail and dedication to getting the job done right the first time, Mike ensures that our clients' visions are brought to life with flawless execution.
Production and Materials Management
Chris Lawrence
With over 10 years of woodworking experience, Chris Lawrence serves as Lead Production & Materials Management, playing a key role in both project execution and the coordination of materials throughout the shop. He brings a strong balance of craftsmanship, organization, and collaboration, helping ensure projects move efficiently from start to finish. Chris thrives in a team-driven environment where clear communication and coordination are essential to delivering high-quality results.
